First-Week Introduction

The first week of class presents numerous challenges; new teachers, work, and the hangover from winter break. However, the second semester provides a chance to reassess one’s prior academic performance. I am seeking to actualize my goals, work my hardest, and push the boundaries of my capabilities.

Midterm Introduction

With the creation of our survey for lab one, many unexpected challenges have presented themselves. From a lack of replies on our survey to communication difficulties, the challenges were numerous, however I have overcome the difficulties and worked through the challenges of the semester so far. The work I have put into CODES can be seen in both my work and passion for the program, and I am excited for the rest of the semester to come.

Final Introduction

Despite numerous setbacks and difficulties completing the lab assignments, our team has managed to pull through and achieve success. Through our research and ethnographic data collection we have learned about East Saint Louis and the parks within it. Due to this, I feel as if I have earned an A in this class and will take the lessons I have learned and apply them in my future research efforts.
