About Me:

Hello!.

My name is Alejandra Beltran and I’m from Camargo, Chihuahua, MX. I was born in Louisville, CO. but I

grew up in Mexico and spent 11 years of my life there.

I love working out, meeting new people, making new friends, hanging out and meeting new places,

listening to music, traveling, and spending time with my loved ones but above all I am passionate about learning new things.

When I was twelve years old, I dreamed of being able to move to the United States and go to college. Finally, on December 13th of 2021, I moved to Winfield, MO. on my own to begin that dream that I worked hard to turn

into a plan. After months of hard work I found the university that became my new home away from home.

SIUE gave me the opportunity to be part of an incredible group called CODES in which I seek to develop

new experiences and skills that lead me to acquire the knowledge to become a corporate lawyer. I

expect to graduate in 2027. Meanwhile I want to make connections and meet people form all around the

world.

Being away from home and becoming an Independent girl in a whole different country at the age of 17

was one of the hardest situations I had to overcome, but I strongly believe that my dreams and my desire

to find the best version of myself always gave me the strength that I needed to get to where I am at right

now.
