How will you learn the content\/ develop the skill? What evidence will you add to the portfolio to demonstrate your learning? How will you and I assess the evidence of your learning\/skills? (25%) Adapts and applies a deep understanding of multiple worldviews, experiences, and power structures while initiating meaningful interaction with other cultures to address significant global problems. I will engage in conversations with people from diverse backgrounds to gain firsthand insights into their experiences and perspectives. To show my progress in this area, I compromise to document a brief reflection in my e-portfolio following each team collaboration. In these reflections, I will articulate aspects that I find particularly enlightening from my classmates’ contributions, citing specific individuals and endeavoring to quote insights that have positively influenced my learning journey through CODES. Writing a paper at the end of the semester where I describe these experiences and how I will apply them to life. (25%) Accesses information using effective, well-designed search strategies and appropriate sources. I will evaluate sources based on authorship, publication date, publisher, and citations. I will attach links to my assignments of the sources of information I consult and to be extremely careful about the pages I visit to extract information by verifying the domain and whether the site is safe or not. By checking the quality and relevance of the information I gather and how well I synthesize it into my assignments. (25%) Identifies and evaluate multiple approaches for solving problems. Naturally, I will encounter challenges throughout this course and in many of my assignments. However, these difficulties will serve as opportunities for growth, allowing me to enhance my problem-solving skills and improve my ability to find effective solutions. I will reach out to my teachers whenever I encounter any issues with assignments or projects. Additionally, I will document each problem and the corresponding solution in a dedicated section of my e-portfolio. This section will detail the challenges I faced and the resolutions I implemented, providing a comprehensive overview of my problem-solving processes By checking the section where I document problems and solutions, assessing clarity, detail, and depth of reflection on each issue encountered. (25%) Uses quantitative information to support arguments and draw logical conclusions.
