This semester, I want to refine and explore ways to improve my educational games for kids with a background in water sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Midterm Introduction <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that I am halfway through this 2026 spring semester. So far, my group and I have been working on building a blog as our emplace contribution, where we can explain to the public and other college students around the state what our research is on and how far we have come.  I have also worked on reflections, helping me think further about how to build the blog and explain my area of research by making a game that teaches water conservation concepts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Final Introduction <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now the semester is over, and so is my research through CODES. Time went by so fast, and I can&#8217;t even believe it&#8217;s over now. For the final part of this semester, we finalized our emplace post, a blog where we broke down the steps and activities we did. For the most part, I help ensure the group is on track and catch up on updates. I also make sure that our group&#8217;s research is organized using Google Docs and folders, giving us easy access to our past work and notes we have taken along the way that help us publish our work.Throughout our research, we always help each other by offering feedback, tips, and ideas. Our way of collaboration helps me polish my work to the best of my abilities. We found it easier to break it down into different tabs with goals. I had a tab specifically for my water words wonders, where I briefly explained what my part of the water fair moving future would be. I helped with ideas on how we wanted to start our blog, which was different. As a group, we were able to think of a starting approach with a few quick fact questions that go back to our survey from 2 semesters ago, which were very important to understanding the struggles related to our overall research. My contribution to my research was to show many different areas, such as helping members of my group when they didn\u2019t know how to start. I have ideas and different approaches for how they could present their research throughout our work. I communicated and texted members when they or I had questions. I take feedback positively and use it to improve my work, aiming for the best possible outcome. With my group, I helped improve our conclusion and structure of approach in our blog from how we wanted to present it to the public, readers, and partners, which shows our dedication and hard work and why our research hopes to make a difference that inspires change for all in water conservation.  As I have from the very beginning helped set up an organized system for us using Google Drive, we have folders named and dated, making it much easier to go back to older papers we wrote and resources we used much earlier. Our research strategy is organized into folders, tabs, and notes. From our previous work and visits with our partners JJKFAN, we have been able to have a better understanding of why changing the approach in education to more fun and interactive teaching methods improves their habits and behaviors is so important when we want to make changes that can help improve water awareness and conservation in kids&#8217; lives, as they are the future of the world. Throughout my work in the workshops and reflection 4. I found it very fun to go back through all the work we have built on throughout our research, giving me the opportunity to see how far my group and I have come. In our dissemination plan, we brought everything together. My way of think as change with the process of working in understanding what Emplace is and how i want people to see CODES and my water conservation research group as we have worked hard to build knwolege and understanding of the struggles that come with finding ways to change the approch of interactive fun lesson that are educational and fun for both teacher and student that improve kids learning and awarndess of nature and what is water consevation. We all know that improvement starts with small steps that later become examples for others. As we began writing our blog for Emplace, my group and I improved our work based on feedback. One very helpful thing was the extra tips we were given from Ta, telling us that overall our paper just had a lot of small grammatical errors and needed extra information. With that, I was able to go back and write 2 examples of how we could explain our wicked problem to the public, and let my group choose which of the two explains it best.
