I think my biggest takeaway this semester was learning to build and present our research in a different way. Having to think outside the box about how we wanted the public to go further in our research understanding, in short steps, as a group effort, where everyone on our research team played a very key role. Overall, I am thankful to have an amazing team that was organized, creative, and had the same overall goal that water conservation is important, and it will affect our lifestyle if we don’t start making changes to our consumption. Codes gave me an opportunity to build new skills that will help me as I go through my education. It also changed my way of approaching information and curiosity when I see things that need change. CODES has offered me a community of wonderful professors who inspire me to become a very educated woman, as I see the passion and dedication of these professors, and why research is so important. So now, when I see people asking the public to answer a survey or do something to help their research, I want to volunteer and help them, because I understand the struggles that come with doing research, and I have lots of respect for people who dedicate their time to research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
