Dear Dr.Smith,
During this contract, I will discuss what I should do to succeed in this class. My goal is to achieve a grade of B or higher.
- Works independently toward goals by contributing and meeting deadlines. 40%
As a new student coming into the CODES program during the spring semester, I will not try to seclude myself because everyone is a semester ahead of me. Still, I will ensure that I do my part during group work and turn in assignments on time. I will make sure that I am making time outside of the classroom to work on assignments and group work. This is something that I struggle with currently but will do my best to achieve this goal.
- Pursues knowledge and educational experience beyond the classroom. 10%
Since I am interested in the information that the CODES program has to offer, I will make sure that I apply this information outside of the classroom and in the future. For instance when we do research and analyze articles and texts.
- Skillfully represents quantitative information. 40%
Quantitative information can be represented through data sets that indicate how many or how much. I can do this through interviews or analyzing other data sets to collect information.
- Identifies and evaluates multiple approaches for solving problems. 5%
I am pretty good at identifying problems and finding multiple approaches that could help solve the problem in the best way possible. Being able to showcase the possible outcomes after identifying ways to solve the problems.
- Suspends judgment in interactions with people culturally different than themselves. 5%
I’m not very social amongst others, but I work well with others in the classroom. I am very open to learning about different cultures with no judgment.
I hope these goals and my work earn me a B.
