I will succeed in getting an A in this course by completing the following learning outcomes:
Outcome 12 – Collaboration 30%
I believe that the most important thing to get right this semester is teamwork. Now that we’ve already sorted out our project and we know what we’re doing, all that’s left is to work together effectively to achieve that goal.
Outcome 1 – Civic Engagement 25%
Our project in specific features a lot of civic engagement. From talking to MOBOT and organizations like the Boy and Girls Clubs to the trial run of our project, all of this will require civic engagement.
Outcome 8 – Oral Communication 25%
Communication with both group members and with stakeholders is highly important to this project as it helps get everyone on the same page and ready to accomplish this project. I plan to incorporate this into my grade of this course.
Outcome 2 – Critical & Creative Thinking 20%
A smaller portion of the work done both before and after the trial run will require critical and creative thinking to solve problems and remain on track to finishing our project on time. I put this instead of problem solving as I feel this is a better learning outcome based off the subsections.
The above learning outcomes are what I feel will be most influential in this course and thus what will make me an A grade student and scholar.
