The Missouri Botanical Gardens has been lacking diversity of its patrons that interact with the Garden. The Missouri Botanical Gardens sits in an area with a rich and diverse population residing within surrounding areas. With this being said, the data shown by the people who show up to the Garden does not represent the diversity within the walls of this place of community and belonging. It is important to the Missouri Botanical Garden that they work towards a more diverse and welcoming community that correctly represents the area in which it resides.
