Summary (what important facts about the source’s content we should note for our discussion): Restorative justice seeks to examine the harmful impact of a crime and then determines what can be done to repair that harm while holding the person who caused it accountable for his or her actions. When reading St. Louis Area Council on restorative justice in the reading, they are discussing ways they could teach the public more about restorative justice and how it is used for different people. For example, the reading, it showed how the community uses restorative justice. “The restorative justice community approach is responsible for supporting and assisting victims and addressing the causes of crime”.
