This podcast talked about ways they could teach slavery to kids. When it comes to teaching about slavery in classrooms certain teachers or even students may feel uncomfortable talking about it so they may cover the basics. Slavery is something that needs to be covered and I think it’s best to do it while kids are in their kid years between the ages of 5 and up. I also think there should be different ways to teach so the students can learn something and learn from it.

  Implementing more time on slavery allows students and even teachers open and honest conversations about this chapter in history by discussing slavery people could gain a deeper understanding of its causes and effects that it had in history. And helps with confronting issues of racial inequality. 

      This podcast gave me ideas on how to implement some ways to teach the garden/ surrounding people more about the history because many don’t know.
