Research Report: Proposed experiment

Our proposed experiment includes surveying visitors at the Missouri Botanical Garden in order to figure out the percentage of visitors who live within 15 miles of the garden. Our hope would be to improve our outreach methods in order to promote individuals who live closer to the garden to visit. There would need to be an individual at the garden whose job includes collecting the data. We would also need resources and help from the garden in order to improve the outreach methods. We learned about many different outreach methods within our articles. We have to make sure we understand what that community wants and needs from the garden in order to visit. We need to make sure that the garden has different things needed to make it the most accessible and affordable as possible for this community. The independent variable would be changing the outreach methods for the community within 15 miles of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Our dependent variable is the percentage of visitors who live within that 15 mile range of the garden.
