“Systematically analyzes assumptions to develop logical plans to solve problems.” (25%)
I chose this goal because now that we are working with MOBOT more intently we are looking at what we can do to complete our goal. With our certain topic we might have little problems that we come across which will need to be worked on and switched.
“Uses compelling, appropriate delivery techniques.” (20%)
This outcome supplied my goal of wanting to be able to express the information learned to individuals that ask me what Henry Shaw has to do with the Botanical Garden. I always just say what the obvious is but I want to be able to go more into depth of what the problem actually is. I will show this by being able to express to the professors and peers what had happened in the past with correct connotation.
Identifies and evaluates multiple approaches for solving problems.” (25%)
Personally this is an outcome I strive to do whenever I face an issue. I have the problem of always just choosing the first solution that I come up with and by making this goal I will be able to work harder to find different solutions. I will show this by writing down multiple solutions in a notebook or asking others what their solution is and add it to my list.
Uses language to skillfully communicate with clarity and fluency.” (15%)
I understand this as when it says read I think of an individual being able to speak. Being able to speak to others and to a group of people with the correct lens is always going to be needed. This leads to my goal of being able to express what I have to say and being able to continue giving information about talking about the Botanical Garden and how Henry Shaw had an impact on it. I will be able to show this by being able to have heighted conversations. I will compare the videos that we take from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
Pursues knowledge and educational experience beyond the classroom. (15%)
This year I want to have this goal because at the end of the year we are going to be actually implementing what we have been working on with the garden. I want to visit the garden not during class time to work with my group on our certain topic. I also want to work on the work with my group while on campus out of class time.
