Template for a Class Portfolio

Introduction

In this part of the year I feel as though I did a good job trying to get all the goals completed as best as I could. There was some goals I did very well on and some I did not do good at all. Though I have a great hold on what I need to do for the next have of this first part of freshman year.

2b.Takes risks in approaching learning to create new knowledge.(15%)

This goal was easy for me to complete because of the projects we have been doing in class.

This is article about kimchi that I had learned more about the food and the role that it played in todays food culture. Learning like this was new to me and I really like that way I was able to click through and learn more and more about the food and culture.

 8b.Uses compelling, appropriate delivery techniques.(20%)

This past few weeks I have had to step out me shell as a person and find ways to use goof techniques for speaking and presentations. This is me making my video talking about the effects that kimchi has had on our world. Also this was a practice run to see what view I need to have to phone at.

9b. Identifies and evaluate multiple approaches for solving problems.(25%)

This school has been one that I have had to get help because school is sometimes hard to understand. so me getting help from friends and being able to help them has made both of us better students. this picture is me and my friend Jess working on work together to finish and assignment due for our FAME and GAME class.

11a. Evaluates texts’ scholarly significance to apply reading to other contexts or issues(25%).

This goal is something that I am still working on an want to get better and better at as the year goes on. I would say I am a good writer but there is still somethings that I can work on as I learn and grow with my writing as a college student. What I have to show is my contract and jus some of the words that i chose to use in my writing I feel were good.

13a. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of context, audience, and purpose(15%)

This goal for me is a little hard for this class just because we do not have a lot of speaking that we have to break down and learn from. I do not have any things to show for this goal. So for my next part of the year I will change this goal to make sure I can provide a good and clean answer to get the grade I want.
