Goal 1 (20%) Helps collaboration move forward by articulating the merits of alternative ideas or proposals
When It came to the interviews we made many different plans on how to approach it. Everyone was able to bounce around ideas on what they thought the best strategy was to interview people. We tried everyone’s ideas while slowly modifying them to find the best fit that made us comfortable and effective interviewers, we saw some ideas didn’t work while others worked fine. We had to come up with many different ideas and change them to help us move forward as better interviewers
Goal 2 (30%) Demonstrates sophisticated understanding of the complexity of elements important to members of another culture in relation to history, values, politics, communication styles, economy, or beliefs and practices.
I conducted research that was able to enhance my knowledge on healthcare within the city of Chicago. I researched many aspect that would affect the type of healthcare people would receive based on their race, gender, or social class. I also looked deep into the ways that Chicago were trying to eliminate the gap between the care given to white people and minorities. I was able to show my understanding by posting it on the research group page and also speaking about it in front of a group of people
Goal 3 (10%) Systematically and methodically analyzes own and others’ assumptions to develop logical plans to solve problems.
This was our research group team charter that we worked to put together. We identified a problem and we split it amongst the group members to solve it.

Goal 4 (10%) Effectively define the scope of research questions and selects information to address central questions.
When It came to the Final presentation I was required to explain our research questions and then I had to get the information that best address our findings as well as the central questions. With the limited time that we had I had to effectively explain the information while also tying the rest of our research together
Goal 5 (10%) Implements solutions in a manner that address multiple contextual factors and consideration of further work needed.
In this activity we worked as a group to research an issue (climate change). We started off by naming off the cause and effects of climate change, than we came up with with a list of was we can combat the effects of climate change
