INTRODUCTION
For my part in the Cahokia heights research project, I had to come up with a handful of government funded agencies that I feel as though has the most impactful resources that could help the residents of Cahokia heights that are facing severe water contamination and the risks that come with it. Over the past few semesters I done a lot of archival research, oral interviews, community meetings and presentations on the issues that have greatly affected the residents of Cahokia Heights. Because of this, I am well aware of what I need to be looking for when it comes to picking the most suitable agencies and weaving out the ones that don’t serve much purpose for this upcoming web-site.

- Me and my group partner Lindell went on a field trip to the city of Cahokia where we had the chance to visit on their local grocery stores. This was a culture shock because the grocery stores back at home don’t have one of these water refill stations. I thought this was a really strong contribution to support my research because it shows that they are facing real water issues.
Wicked Problem: Water Contamination
As we continue to conduct research to address our wicked problem, we’ve created a list of questions to help guide us in our research journey. These questions are:
1.) How can the water issue affect the residents of Cahokia mentally and physically?
2.) What local government agencies best fit the water needs of the Cahokia residents?
3.) What are the current gaps/challenges in accessing healthier food options in Cahokia? What are ways that leaders can provide better options for residents?
4.) How do we make what we learned known to the community of Cahokia?
5.) How long has this problem existed? How has this situation prolonged over time?
