How will your recent interactions with your research team, community partner, and CODE320 mentors shape your work moving forward?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My interactions this school year with my research team and community partners will shape my work moving forward tremendously. I do not think I have a CODES 320 or CODES mentor in general. All of these factors play a role in how my experiences for this semester went negatively but I plan to use the knowledge learned in a positive way moving forward. My research team has not been the best when it comes to interacting. I feel as if I hold a majority of the weight on how much we interact, which I think is not fair because we are a group with six other people. This semester was the first semester I came to my limits with my team. I had to have a conversation with them about them holding up their weight for the team. Looking at the bright side of the situation, I was able to reflect on the way I would handle issues within a team. I plan to use my experiences from this semester to set boundaries in my research work more clearly and work on more effective ways of communication.
