Hi, my name is Jonathan Brown. I am from Merrionette Park, IL. It’s a suburb right next to Chicago, and I am majoring in public relations with a minor in sociology. During my time at SIUE, I plan to work in the law field as an attorney. One of the main reasons I am drawn to the law field is the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. I firmly believe in the right to treat every individual with respect, dignity, fairness, and I aspire to contribute to the movement that strives to achieve this. The work of lawyers and attorneys in social justice is crucial in making sure that marginalised communities are heard and that their rights are protected.
