My journey has developed a lot as I close out my freshman year. Of course, this is just the beginning, but I’ve gained so much experience in these few months, from different professors teaching me important life skills to the little things like making sure I stay on task. At the end of my freshman year, I can reflect on my accomplishments and truly be proud of myself. I can already tell CODES is going to be a big part of my development, from the classes to the garden and the research team. I’m excited to see what the world has in store for me.
Another point of development is my job in the soar office. This has been a great opportunity to learn skills in the workforce and work with great people in the process. All of these well-established people have been great mentors and personalities to be around! I am so grateful for the opportunities granted to me by this wonderful campus, and I hope to have even more millstones in my future here.
