This semester has been really impactful for me from the new things incorporated into the curriculum, to the research of the archives. This class has introduced me to ethnographic studies, which is the scientific description of the customs of individual peoples and cultures. I have found an interest in this because it makes note taking more interesting when your observing things that are actually happening in real time. I am excited to experience what else this course has to offer!

This has been a great goal to work towards because we’ve had multiple points of conversation in class and through the reading. I have multiple notes proving that I’ve worked and contributed to this goal to my fullest ability.
Works independently toward goals by contributing and meeting deadlines.
The deadlines have shifted a little bit over the span of the semester but in the scope of work submitted, my assignments are fully updated.
Pursues knowledge and educational experience beyond the classroom.
This is a great goal that ended up coming up during my ethnography and landed me into a grad class which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was a great introduction to further my learning in my academic journey.
Demonstrates sophisticated understanding of the complexity of elements important to members of another culture in relation to history, values, politics, communication styles, economy, or beliefs and practices.
I’ve observed and read multiple perspectives concerning politics and history so I will continue to progress on this as the semester continues.

This is a goal that came up with a survey we gave out to undergrad students about study tools. We presented questions to help us understand our assumptions on what we deemed effective for an undergrad student.
