Cars Movie

Cars was really the best movie for me when I was a kid. The jokes were so funny and the characters just really knew how to make you laugh. The first Cars film was released in 2006 and soon became the first Pixar franchise after Toy Story to not only get a sequel but to complete a trilogy as well. That’s no easy feat; the trilogy has grossed over $1.4 billion worldwide, and the franchise is an absolute monster in merchandise and toy sales.
The first movie Lightning McQueen is a new racer to the big scene and is really confident at first. He gets stranded in Radiator Springs which turns into his home town for racing. While speeding through, he accidentally damages the road. which leads him to be sentenced to community service by Doc Hudson, the town’s judge and a retired racing legend. He meets the townspeople, including Sally the Porsche, Fillmore the VW bug, and Sarge the Jeep.
As McQueen fixes the road, he starts appreciating the slower pace of life. However, his presence is discovered by the media. He starts to remember the Piston Cup race. During the final lap, he’s leading but stops when veteran racer The King is wrecked by the ruthless Chick Hicks. Instead of crossing the finish line, McQueen pushes The King to complete his last race. This act earns him respect, while Hicks, despite winning, is booed for his behavior. This movie was just so funny and left a big impact on me as a kid.
