Bowling

I am writing about bowling this week. Bowling has a very special place in my heart because of the way I got into it. My mom had asked me what I wanted to do as a spot to be active and I said bowling. I went to my first league and it’s been history since then. I’ve gotten over 40 Bowling awards and went to state for my highschool. I actually ended up working at the bowling alley I grew up in and became a cook.

The complicatedness of bowling will forever be difficult. The way every little thing plays a factor in bowling just really made me fall in love with it. The oil on the lanes is so much more complicated than meets the eye. There are various oil patterns to affect the way the ball rolls down the lanes. The ball itself is on the high end $260 for a ball. It’s not for no reason. They Have different molds on the inside to affect the rotation. They also have different surfaces to affect how quick they react to the lanes.

My love for bowling makes me so passionate about doing well. My highschool tournament average was around 210-220. The competition in the bowling scene is very intense. When you perfect your swing and approach it’s very hard to miss so it can make you very confident. I’ve even become too confident before and have been humbled. It’s also a great opportunity to enjoy a nice night with your friends.
