I am excited to apply for the HR Recruiter position with MERS/Missouri Goodwill. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and I am looking for an opportunity to begin building my career in HR while contributing to an organization that makes a difference in the community.
Through my work and college experience, I have developed strong communication, organization, teamwork, and customer service skills. Working in fast-paced environments has taught me how to manage multiple responsibilities, communicate with different types of people, follow company procedures, and stay organized under pressure. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish, which has helped me communicate with people from different backgrounds.
I am especially interested in recruiting because I enjoy working with people and want to help connect individuals with opportunities that fit their skills and goals. Although I am still developing my professional HR experience, I am eager to learn more about candidate sourcing, interviewing, hiring events, recruiting metrics, and the overall hiring process. I believe my work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to communicate well with others would allow me to contribute to the MERS Goodwill Human Resources team.
