Dear Dr. Jack

In order for me to achieve B Work in CODE 221, I’ve set goals for the rest of my time in college, along with how I plan to show off my accomplishments.

1. Reading(25%)

Evaluates texts’ scholarly significance to apply reading to other contexts or issues.

We are working with the archives, so I want focus on this objective. In order to apply the knowledge to our presentations or work assignments, I want to be able to analyze the bits of information. I’ll demonstrate this in our upcoming work by using what we’ve learned.

2. Civic Engagement (25%)

Demonstrates ability and commitment to collaboratively work across and within community contexts and structures.

I chose this objective because we are working with MOBOT in further detail. By taking photos of some of the tasks we are finishing there, I will be able to demonstrate this.

3. Collaboration (25%)

Works independently toward goals by contributing and meeting deadlines.

I decided on this goal since I found it difficult to complete assignments on time last semester and to avoid waiting until the last minute. I’ll demonstrate this by using screenshots of my assignments that I turned in on time.

4. Skills for Lifelong Learning (25%)

Explores a topic in depth, yielding a rich awareness and/or little-known information indicating intense interest in the subject.

I have this objective because I want to be able to spend a lot more time than normal looking through the archives. I’m curious to find out a lot about the past that most people aren’t exposed to. By describing what we will be learning when we visit MOBOT, I will be able to demonstrate this.

Sincerely,

Juanito Espericueta
