Hello, my name is Julez Hill, but everyone calls me JuJue. I am from East St. Louis IL, and I plan to major in graphic design with a minor in photography. I want my time at SIUE to make an impact on not only myself but my community. Going through these next 4 years, I want to better my ideals and further my perspective through my art. I plan on graduating in 2028 with a 3.5 gpa. During my free time, I always had a passion for sketching & taking photos. It was the way I is how I am able to express myself and my work. Photography is something I want to make a career out of and I’m looking forward to making it something I love.
Being raised in the East St. Louis I’m from came with a lot of challenges. From a city having little to nothing, all you would want is more for not only yourself but your entire community. I had a lot of opportunities to help out different organizations through, community service, fundraisers, and food drives in my area. Going to college was the next big thing to bring my talents into a new workspace and to someday make a greater change in the world.
