Entry 1-Dec 8th 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello! My name is Justin, and this is my journey so far! My journey started quite a bit earlier than most freshmen, for my first day of school was 5-6 weeks before the majority of other freshmen, I was part of a program named Summer Sucess where you spent 5 weeks within the SIUE Dorms over the summer while also taking introductory level courses, such as Biology and Math. (My Courses!) The summer sucess program is how I learned to work hard and peform good work, I needed to learn how to take charge and handle my problems proactively, rather than reactivly such as studying for a test rather than going to the pool, and I belive that my professors noticed this change!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Side Note: Because I knew the Science Building so well, my group and I won first place in the Biology Expedition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my actual first semester, was surprisingly rather uneventful, in fact, it came and went very quickly, for the most part just went to class every day and tried to get the best grades I could. However, there were some gems here and there! such as when my CODES Research team went to Heartlands! Where I stepped out of my comfort zone and actually tried making some friends, and one of my goals is to at least finish off my freshman year with at least one genuine friend, I will update this regularly about my progress. Bye for now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
