Justin Richerson is currently a rising Junior at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, where he studies biology and hopes to one day become a Dentist. Amazingly, Justin was actually terrified of going to the dentist when he was younger, but when he outgrew that fear, he eventually came to love the field. After he learned about the many inequalities in not just Dentistry, but Medicine as a whole, he decided to go into Family Dentistry and is very interested in community outreach. Justin is currently a student of the CODES program, a program that facilitates research and hands-on community building. He’s had several presentations during his time in CODES, and he has also presented at the SIU System Day. Justin is also very fond of baking, as well as studying mythology, and jewelery making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
