First-Week Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One thing I am most excited about for this semester is that I am essentially a rising junior in college, and my research team and lecture have seemingly been combined, which means this is a new stage in the CODES Program. I am mostly excited about the prospect of being able to make actual changes in the community. One thing I am afraid of most, however, is that being an elder CODES Member and being a step away from being Juniors, is the increased responsibility and having a larger workload, but this is a rather minor fear as I have had a bit of experience under my belt and that makes me less afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Midterm Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Something that my group mates and I are doing is that we are creating a blog post of sorts to summarize our major project, the Water Fair. This is being done to essentially simplify our projects into somthing the average person (such as a science teacher, or a college student doing research outside of CODES) can understand. This is being done to ensure that our time in the CODES program leaves a legacy and that our work can be used for future generations of students. This, in my opinion, is a great honor to do as we are very close to being juniors and eventually seniors, which means we will be looked up to by future CODES cohorts and I am excited to see how this project will evolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
