I chose this one because it\u2019s important to reassure our community partners and the community we are working with that we are here to help and collaborate <\/em>with them and not take over. That means making an effort to include their culture, ideas, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Recognizing wicked problems and the significance they hold with other issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I really believe that it is important to recognize problems for what they are and not dismiss them. Along with trying to come up with ways to fix them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Demonstrating professional and mature understanding of complex elements important to members of another culture in relation to history, values, politics, communication styles, economy, or beliefs and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I chose this goal because when working with the problems we are working with you have to take a mature approach. Thinking of it from a different perspective than your own is crucial for growing. In this class especially you can\u2019t be incompetent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Identifying and coming up with multiple ways to solve problems <\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel like this is what this class is about and it should be something I am actively trying to work on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Systematically analyzes assumptions to develop logical plans to solve problems <\/p>\n\n\n\n We are dealing with systematic\/ wicked problems and it is important to look at and solve problems from a systematic point of view a break down the pieces to try to solve them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Civic Engagement 1a Being able to cooperate with people we are working with and making an effort to include things like culture and ideas into our work.
