What Is CODES?

SIUE Community Oriented Digital Engagement Scholars, or CODES is a new 4 year program at SIUE that allows students to focus on a research based curriculum from day 1 of freshman year. CODES also supplies scholars with the unique opportunity to work with community partners to further their research regarding real world issues. CODES has given me the opportunity to go to college even when it felt financially out of reach along with allowing me to start exploring my interests starting my first semester at SIUE.
