First-Week Introduction

I selected these goals because they are essential to delivering dependable, superior work and guaranteeing that I can make a significant contribution to any project. I will be better able to make wise decisions, collaborate with others, and generate results I can stand behind if I work on honing my skills in ethical research, data gathering, leading debates, source analysis, and teamwork. I am most excited about the labs because i am very hands on, the most challenging assignment seem like the final project because I am responsible for my individual grade and a part of a group grade. I want to make sure I have a good schedule, at classes everyday and on time also actively engaging in it. But the most one I struggle with is managing my time

Midterm Introduction

I have learned how to be outgoing and more social for the first half of the semester . I enjoy the group discussion more because it allow me to understand that my opinion matters. I struggled with finding sources and more data for my research project but my group taught me what to look for and how to look. The goal I think I succeed at is 12c working independently and turning in all the work by the deadlines. I have struggle with finding data for my project that I am working on to change and make it my strength by going to google scholar and regular google and just read

Final Introduction

[Now that the semester is over, use your introduction to reflect in-depth on your process. How well did you meet the goals you set out to meet? What did you learn that surprised you? Focusing on your goals for this class, what do you want to remember to take with you into your future courses? What strategies can you use to continue developing toward these goals?]

Course Goals

Choose five goals from the CODES Student Learning Outcomes that you’d like to work toward. Choose goals that are relevant to the scope of this course, select artifacts/examples based on activities assigned for this course, and explain characteristics in a way that illustrates how your artifacts/examples demonstrate your progress toward the goal.

Goal 1 20%
Based on 11c : Reads using an appropriate lens and can engage in a continuing dialogue within and beyond a discipline or a community of readers.

What will you do to learn the content/ develop the skill? What examples will you add to the portfolio to demonstrate your learning? What characteristics of the chosen examples demonstrate you have met your goal?
I want to learn how to make tie the sources together to support my claims better Source Analysis 1,2 , 3, I will have credible sources that directly support my claim, and clearly explain the significance. I will analyze how each source source strengths my claim, providing context to make the connection clear.

My sources analysis represents how I can collect data tie credible sources together to my claim. Also, it shows how I put the effort into doing my work the best I can and on time.

Goal 2 20%
Based on 5c : Responsibly integrates research and demonstrates full understanding of the ethical and legal restrictions on information use.

What will you do to learn the content/ develop the skill? What examples will you add to the portfolio to demonstrate your learning? What characteristics of the chosen examples demonstrate you have met your goal?

[For each 5% of effort you assign to your goal, provide at at least one example or artifact that demonstrates your learning process and shows how your made progress toward meeting that goal this semester (You would need four examples if the goal was worth 20% of your grade). Show how you have improved over time, what methods you took to grow, and talk about what you still plan to do in the future. ]

What will you do to learn the content/ develop the skill? What examples will you add to the portfolio to demonstrate your learning? What characteristics of the chosen examples demonstrate you have met your goal?
To improve your data collection skills, clearly define your research objectives, select the most appropriate data collection methods like surveys or interviews based on your needssource analysis

Success would involve regularly collecting accurate, relevant data that generates clear, actionable insights and drives improved decision-making.

The Zotero folder shows how I am improving with collecting data also analyzing data and collaborating with others

Goal 5 ( 20% )
Based on 12c –

What will you do to learn the content/ develop the skill? What examples will you add to the portfolio to demonstrate your learning? What characteristics of the chosen examples demonstrate you have met your goal?
