First-Week Introduction
My goal is to improve in my collaboration with others and my work ethics in and out of the classrooms. I am going to put myself more into my work and improve my organization skills, so I do not feel as disoriented towards my assignments. I also want to not be afraid to ask questions so I understand the work more so I can improve the work I created.
Midterm Introduction
We learned a lot about the data collection process. I enjoyed learning more Indepth of the statistics needed for data collection. I struggled with patient it takes to make the necessary process of creating the perfect survey. I have most excelled at making suggestions in my group to move it forwarded. I need to approve more in my oral communication. I will work more with notecards on my oral communication and making notes.

“How do you think society oppresses and silences Grassroot organizations?” I made this question during my turn as discussion lead. I believe it shows my ability to not only understand text but also enough to write coherent question.
“The natives’ innovative ways of building mounds and their use of nature to incorporate their culture and last over centuries. I like the connections that a lot of native tribes have of recreating things in nature we take for granted.” In this writing I clearly communicate my understanding of the history of natives and my appreciations of it.

- They explain what grassroots organizations are as ordinary people coming together to help communities in need
- They believe that grassroots are important because Sustainability solutions should start small and grow connections, in which they hope that the work will multiply
- Small differences in society are still important and beneficial
- Gave examples of grassroot organizations that work to save the environment
- DECOIN is a grassroot in Ecuador that aims to help post mining effects. They focus on biodiversity. ” These are notes I wrote to help me through discussion leads so I could have a better verbal communication during my presentation.

“Marrisa is 98% white according to statistical vs. Centerville 91% black population” I decided to go out of my way to learn the actual statistics of the town to see if it supported my theory of racial mistreatment.
“‘This is the most robust measure so far of cerebral differences between homosexual and heterosexual subjects,’ she says.
Previous studies have also shown differences in brain architecture and activity between gay and straight people, but most relied on people’s responses to sexuality driven cues that could have been learned, such as rating the attractiveness of male or female faces” (Andy Coghlan). This is part of an article I read on the differences between Hetero and homosexual brains after my interest was piqued looking at Bradelys research.
