Author: Adrienne Maree Brown

How has planning your individual products and group project been going so far, and how can aspects of adrienne maree brown’s Emergent Strategy inform the work you continue to do?

After attending just one start-up meeting, I am confident our group has showcased a positive blend of challenges and opportunities. Drawing from Adrienne Brown’s Emergent Strategy, our planning process may benefit from reflecting on how trust and a collective movement can improve our group dynamics. Successful collaboration. A successful partnership can hinge on everyone’s capability to adapt to the team as the birds murmur. My group made the needed adjustments while focusing on completing our shared vision for our project.

Our projects are planned and divided into two teams. Communication has become more adaptive, but it could still take some work. Brown’s idea of mindful adaptation may help us as separate groups and as a whole. Our group could find new ways to collaborate and innovate. As Brown suggests, trust and a sense of collective responsibility lighten individuals’ burdens, making the planning process more efficient and less exhausting.
