Introducing Me :)

Hey Y’all! I’m Mary Underwood, I’m 12 and I plan on majoring in Early Childhood Education, I’m hoping to be a kindergarten but we’ll just have to see where life takes me. I’m from Princeton, Illinois and I really like creative arts such as dance, theatre, and music and I’m hoping to continue that while I’m in school. I enjoy reading and baking, specifically cookies. I’m a HUGE Taylor Swift and Harry Styles fan and if given the chance I’ll probably tell you facts about both that you didn’t ask to know. If I’m not doing any of those things I am most likely napping, watching TV, my go to show at the moment is Hell’s Kitchen or Criminal Minds, or making Pinterest boards. I enjoy listening to music and no matter how much I try I cannot choose a song I like the most because it changes everyday. In junior high and high school I was in band and choir, I played the flute, percussion and a little french horn as well as taking guitar and piano classes. I was an alto in choir and was fortunate enough to make it to the Illinois Music Educators Conference last year and perform in the All-State choir alongside my best friend.

I listen to a lot of music and my favorite musical artist are Harry Styles and Taylor Swift. (According to Spotify Wrapped, I am in the top 0.5% of Harry Styles listeners.

The choir side. This was after the orchestra, choir and band all performed. That’s my friend Courtney, we had done a lot growing up together and when both of us got in it was very cool.
