Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Midterm: Skills that I\u2019ve learned during my first semester of school are better studying habits, taking advantage of resources, and planning. This semester I most enjoyed the site visits because it gave a sense of a break from the classroom while still learning. I struggled with time management because I learned realized what all I had to do until assignments kept stacking up. A goal I want to continue developing over into the second semester would be public speaking and a goal I thinking I\u2019ve most excelled at during the first semester would be charting my assignments\/quizzes to stay organized. Work more on paragraph structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final: Skills I want to keep working on for next semester procrastination, working more on paragraph structure, and public speaking. I want to keep working on procrastination because some times I still wait to the last minute to due my work which sometimes works in my favor while other times it doesn’t. With public speaking when I know that everyone is looking at me I tend to forget everything that I’m supposed to be presenting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goal 1 (30%)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This semester i will be able to start the journey of conquering my fear of public speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a spoken photo essay presentation for Despain’s class where we had to get in front of the class and talk about how our photos aligned with our main topic. Although I wasn’t just up there talking by myself, the thought of the whole classroom looking at me talk was nerve wracking I still went up there and spoke even though I was extremely nervous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goal 2 (10%): Evidence coming Spring 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I will be able to pinpoint different solutions for all problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goal 3 (15%)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I will be able to strongly understand assigned passages and its targeted audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading the passage and looking at the may pieces of evidence to support his claim I was able to full grasp the true meaning behind the passage, not just from reading the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goal 4 (15%) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I will develop understanding and creative messages that have relevant supporting materials in my writings and presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comments given by Dr. Despain helped me better improve my first digital project. Her comments really made me start thinking a lot deeper as to why certain things shape me into the person that I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will be able to efficiently complete my work with little to no distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marking all events on my calendar help me stay organized as to what is coming up besides my classes, and writing down my assignments in my planner help me stay organized with what assignments I have for that week and when they are due.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
