Hi there, I’m Priscilla Kincanon from Columbia, Missouri. Throughout my next four years at SIUE, I plan to study Early Childhood Education to become a teacher or nanny after I graduate in spring 2027.
I am a tutor at Glen Carbon Library for children in grades K-12, and I am also a teacher’s assistant for the Roxana school district. Being a part of the America Reads program through Americorps, I am given the opportunity to encourage children to learn and develop.
Amongst being a full-time student and tutor, I am a live-in nanny. Watching over a 5-year-old girly girl means Sephora trips, doing each other’s makeup, and Target hauls. It is the best job in the world.
