While at SIUE I plan to get my bachelor&#8217;s degree in criminal justice in 2028 and further my education by attending law school and attaining a law degree. My career goal is to be a criminal defense attorney and also take pro bono cases for defendants who were wrongfully convicted. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and hanging out with friends. As an African American coming from a low-income crime-ridden neighborhood in Chicago, I faced a lot of obstacles in my life, all that have made me strong and shaped me into the scholar I am today.
