Introduction

During the first half of this semester, I’ve continued to build on a lot of the skills I started developing last year. I’ve improved my writing by learning how to better organize my thoughts and explain my ideas more clearly. I’ve also gotten more comfortable thinking creatively and coming up with ideas that go beyond the obvious. Working on different projects has helped me understand how to approach problems from different perspectives, which is something I’ve really enjoyed.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed the most this semester is continuing to work with my group. Since we’ve been together for a while, we communicate better and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses. This has made it easier to divide up work and trust each other to get things done. I also enjoy the collaborative aspect of the class because it makes projects feel less stressful and more engaging.

However, I have still struggled with presenting in front of others. Even though I’ve improved a little, I still get nervous and sometimes feel unsure of myself when speaking. This is something I really want to keep working on because I know it’s an important skill. I think one of the goals I’ve done well at so far is improving my teamwork and participation within my group. I contribute more than I used to and feel more comfortable sharing my ideas.

Going into the second half of the semester, I want to continue developing my confidence, especially when it comes to presentations. I plan to prepare more, practice ahead of time, and push myself to speak up more during class. I also want to keep improving my writing and make sure I’m putting in my best effort on every assignment.

One goal I haven’t fully met yet is feeling completely confident when presenting. To make this a priority, I’m going to take every opportunity I can to practice speaking, even in smaller situations, so that I can build up to bigger presentations. Overall, I want to finish the semester strong and show clear improvement in the areas I’ve been working on.
