    For my EMPLACE contribution, I’m creating a social media campaign to promote Jasmine’s on-campus workshop. Everyone in my group is working on their own part of the overall plan, but I’m the only one focusing on the social media side. Because of that, I have to think carefully about who I actually want this campaign to reach and how it’s going to make an impact.     Reflections

    Reflection 1 As my team prepares for our first visit to the site, we’ve been thinking carefully about what we want to observe and learn—both from the physical space and the people we’ll be working with. Since our project is focused on understanding why young adults don’t often take steps to conserve water, and how we can help change that, it’s important for us to go in with open minds and pay close attention to what we see, hear, and feel.
