My name is Tamia Evans and I am a dedicated student pursuing a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice, with a minor in Forensic Science. I’m originally from Lansing, Illinois, a community located about 10 miles south of Chicago.

My academic journey is driven by a passion for understanding the human mind and the justice system, two areas that deeply influence one another. After completing my undergraduate studies, I plan to attend law school and pursue a dual degree program, such as a JD/MPP (Juris Doctor/Master of Public Policy). My ultimate goal is to create meaningful change at the intersection of mental health and law, helping shape policies and practices that better serve individuals and communities.

I believe that combining psychology, criminal justice, and law provides a powerful foundation for addressing some of society’s most pressing issues, from mental health reform to fair and effective legal systems. Through my work, I aim to bridge the gap between policy and people, ensuring that compassion, justice, and evidence-based practices guide decision-making.

Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my family and helping my mom with her custom design business.

Thank you for visiting my page. I’m excited to share my journey with you and connect with others who are equally passionate about justice, mental health, and meaningful change!
