One of the things I tend to think about when it comes to ‘my journey’ is dance.
I was very nervous about dancing again. I was put into it as a child around age 6 or 7. I did not like it at first, it was way too technical for me and I genuinely just had no interest in what it was about. Around middle school I did cheer for 3 years to get work myself back up to see if I might’ve liked it. In most of my dance it would be mostly acrobatics, cheer taught me most of that culture when it came to tumbling. I ended up getting back into dance in highschool, it took a big dwell on my body physically, but it felt good to do. I’d say it is very fitting for my goals and priorities because I got back up and did it knowing I didn’t enjoy it the first time, it makes me feel like I have hope and opportunity.
Taking time for yourself can tell a lot about your character and how you reflect on certain things, my personal belief it shows you have integrity and bravery in what you put your mind to whether it’s considered the best or worst thing in the world. It shows your still open minded and you have courage to try something again no matter how you’re introduced to it. This opinion may change maybe in a week, month or even a year, but that’s the value of ‘your journey’ process.
