Why so many children of immigrants rise to the top<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a lot of factors that can typically go into this topic. This topic is very biased and some people may put it on the spectrum of being \u2018good\u2019 or \u2018bad.\u2019 I tend to think there is a lot of emotion that goes into this, as being classified as the short end of the stick. As stated in the passage, \u201c The lack of a shared set of facts about immigration makes it easy for accusatory and often false messages to echo loudly in the run up to the midterm elections.\u201d When reading this it motivates you to look at more of the emotional, personal aspect, that these are people with struggles and should be treated as said others, but not based off their situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Tying into this, logically there is points proven that when it comes to immigration it is very controversial. Some can be bad, statistically, but it should not be put on a logical scale that all that harm comes from a certain percent of people doing it. Stated in the passage \u201cUsing the data set, Professor Abramitzky and Professor Boustan were able to compare the income trajectories of immigrants\u2019 children with those of people whose parents were born in the United States.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n Something I have noticed in this passage poem specifically is there is a lot of persuasion when it comes to this certain community and tying into the economy. \u201cMaine, or any place where large numbers of immigrants have been moved into a poor community, and it hasn\u2019t become richer. It\u2019s become poorer.
