My group is collaborating with JJKFan on lessons about water and water conservation. In my project, I sought to find lesson plans for use at a water fair conducted at JJKFan. Those are fun in an interactive way that goes with what our partners are looking for in JJKFAN. As I delved deeper into my research, I considered the activities that interest me and how they present to our partners. I began collecting data by researching articles using the exact four words: water conservation, education, community, and lessons. The four words I used help me find specific information on the same topic when trying to find different lessons that are fun and interactive.  I conducted secondary research on various approaches to teaching kids about community water conservation. Some of the things I came across included teaching kids through songs to create peace and unity in the classroom and around the world, with music being sung in various languages. The second thing was the community neighborhood lessons, where kids get to draw and write about their community, describing it as rural, urban, or suburban. Other classes I came across include water filtration, which explains how we treat water to make it clean and drinkable. Through my research, I gained a deeper understanding of how to modernize and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of our partners. Once I complete lessons, I will write an annotated bibliography that includes the citation of the lesson and a description of the lesson. I then worked to select a lesson to do at the water fair.  Currently, I plan to develop a matching images game featuring various water systems and their corresponding locations. I am considering creating two sets, one for younger kids and another for older kids.
