First-Week Introduction

My goal is to improve in my collaboration with my group and learn to work together as a team. I am going to make sure I give my all in all assignments, and turn my work in on time. My goal is to explore and use what I learn and apply it to my daily life and future jobs. I want to help with the research and data collecting, and gain skills on how to solve problems and give surveys.

Midterm Introduction

I learned about the flooding of Centreville and how it is important and similar to the topic my group and I are discussing, which is green space. I think I met mostly the goal of collaboration and demonstrating indecency. I feel as if I still am working on my fluency in writing.

Final Introduction

Now that the semester is over, I enjoyed getting to know some of my CODES classmates. I always was curious about what this was, thinking it was all about technology. I learned how to use scrollytelling and coding in google sheets. I also learned about East St. Louis and the parks me and my group studied about in that area.

Course Goals

Goal 1 (20%)
Based on (12c): Demonstrating great independency towards goals by adding value and completing goals and tasks on time

What will you do to learn the content/ develop the skill?	What examples will you add to the portfolio to demonstrate your learning?	What characteristics of the chosen examples demonstrate you have met your goal?
I will study and put forth the effort to get good grades and be trustworthy while in groups.	Source analysis parts of group projects	I will be able to work on my own and help my group by playing my role.

I also use this source analysis as proof of me completing my work and demonstrating independency.

In this example, I would say I demonstrated that I understood what was being said and also I turned it in on time

I would say the group projects I was reliable on getting my part done and if I didn’t know what to do I went to Ava or Aiden about it. This is an example of me doing my part…

I would say I have improve in my engagement while in my group and also while doing the source analysis. I now have a better understanding of what we are doing. My favorite thing to discuss is about green spaces and how they benefit humans.

The knowledge I receive in this class and the other CODES will be applied to the projects we do to solve the problems and accomplish our group goals.	All 3 labs and the scrolly telling project in all 3 labs	The knowledge I receive will be applied to find solutions in advance.

The knowledge I received on how to use the google sheets and make a scroll telling project, I applied to the final project and made my presentation.

This is lab one I am using as evidence. I went over the graph and surveys about the parks and I came up with solutions with how we could have been better in our survey and accomplish the goal we set as a group.

This is lab 2 I am using. I am showing how I used to knowledge I got from the research to apply to this lab.

In lab 3, me and my group went to Lincoln park and Frank Holten park to observe and get data on the park. Based on what I saw, I took notes on all things in detail.

I will learn about the problems and seeks solutions and if they will cut the whole problem off or add more problems	All 3 labs scrolly telling project	Evidence that I have thought about the problem whether that being the assignment itself or notes I took to prepare.

In these labs is my notes I took on the lab and also lab 1 and 3. I don’t have the picture of lab 3 but I have 1 and 2 and also the scrolly telling.

I feel as if this goal is still pending but as of now I would say I have improved in my writing as a whole.
