Dear Dr. Treasure,
For this semester, I am striving for an A in CODES 320. The following outcomes will showcase how I am going to present my work to earn this A.
1c. Tailors communication strategies to effectively listen, express, and adapt to others to establish relationships both in person and online. (20%)
Open communication between all members of a group is a crucial part to every great team effort. Thus far, my team has worked really well together, and communication has not been an issue. So, this outcome is here to hold myself accountable for open and consistent communication with our MOBOT partners. To showcase this outcome, I will insert messages and emails between myself and Garden partners to show the consistency and professionalism.
5b. Accesses information using effective, well-designed search strategies and appropriate sources (20%)
Another key element to our final product is making sure the information that is shared with the public is accurate and portrays the correct message to our audience. To do this, we must collect good quality data about the plants and the peoples we are speaking about. This will be shown in my e-portfolio by showing our texts that will be displayed on the QR code tour and in the pamphlets to show the progress.
8a. Uses clear organizational patterns and is skillful at presenting content cohesively (20%)
At every check-in with the Garden staff and when our project is finished, we must make sure that our words are portrayed correctly to help us as a group moving forward. This can also come across as fluent to our audience so that when our projects launch, they are organized in a way that can move people. In my eportfolio, this will be shown from the organization on our pamphlet.
12a. Helps collaboration move forward by articulating the merits of alternative ideas (20%)
My group’s dynamic is something that I believe is unmatched. From the beginning, we have all worked together well and helped each other with moving ideas forward. To continue building our relationship as a group, I have this outcome in my eportfolio. I will show this by showing my groups work from class and what portion I have completed, and/or changed to help others with their own ideas.
12c. Works independently toward goals by contributing and meeting deadlines (20%)
When working in a group, it is important that everyone does their part by contributing equally. For our project plan, there are a set goal of dates that we have made out already. In order to hold my weight in this project, I have this learning goal. I will show this in my portfolio by uploading my works and also upload the submission dates.
