- Major:
- My major is biochemistry, and I chose this major because I will be able to study life and all of its amazing properties.
- Career interests: I plan on becoming a Reproductive Endocrinologist which means I want to be a doctor that helps with infertility. This area of medicine is fascinating in how with the assistance of medicine, life can be created for those who struggle to conceive naturally! Infertility is a difficult and often silent struggle for more people than anyone could imagine! I plan on providing compassion, support, and a comforting hand to hold in this difficult yet rewarding time.
- Courses Completed:
- CODES 120: This was my first research team, and in this class our group worked on establishing the wicked problems within the Missouri Botanical Garden and presented a digital showcase at the end of the semester to show what we had found to be the most prominent wicked problems.
- CODES 121: In CODES 121 we focused on how to effectively write and speak to a target audience. We also learned how to notice bias and unfactual information in writing.
- CHEM 113: This class was an introductory chemistry class. Here we worked on definitions and establishing the process for conversions and stoichiometry.
