Hi, my name is Karmen Thornton, and I’m from St Louis, Missouri. This semester, I majored in public health, but I recently changed my major to dance for the next semester! I am hoping to graduate in 2027 with my Bachelor’s in Dance, as it is my passion. I would like to still get some certification in sexual education because it is another passion of mine to learn more and share knowledge about our bodies and minds and sexual health. After I graduate, my goal is to move out to Los Angeles soon and continue what I love to do and become a professional dancer. It is my favorite thing to do and what I love to do the most. Something I really want to overcome this year is my procrastination and persistence to do something, even if it’s not the thing I want to do at that moment. I really want to start doing things that are going to help me long-term and not just in that moment. I want to be here for a good and long time!
