My name is Nikyra Wheaton and I’m from Chicago, Illinois.

During my time here at SIUE I plan to be presented with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a minor in Music Vocal Performance by 2028. With this degree and minor I dream to become a therapist and a vocalist. In my free time I love to sing and listen to music which is therapy to me, spend money at target and be with friends and family. An obstacle I overcame was letting other people hurt me mentally. As I have grown, I tend to always take care of my mental health and put me first when dealing with people.
