Hello lovely people! My name is Payton Plummer and I am a Sophomore this year at SIUE. I am currently pursuing a major in Business Administration with a minor in Political Science. I am very invested in current events and I love numbers. I would love to find a career that can merge both of these passions, but I am still searching. I am one of the CODES Ambassadors! I mostly focus on overseeing our social media with our social media team and contributing to updating the CODES website but I also help Keith and TaKara spread the word about CODES and present our program to high school students.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my two cats: Punkin and Miller. I also enjoy trying new food, shopping, and overall, being in the city. In order for my bank account to keep up with my shopping addiction, I work at Texas Roadhouse as a server and manager. In CODES, I am working to combat the water equity crisis along the Southern American Bottom, representing underserved communities and ensuring they have clean water access. I work closely with the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Academy in East St. Louis to create hands on after school activities for children.
