I am from Belleville, IL, though basically it’s Saint Louis since it’s only a 25min drive across a river. I have lived in Belleville my whole life, so I am not the most interesting when it comes to where I’m from.
My plans for my time at SIUE are attempt to make friends and get through school without any issues. As we are now a year in I just want to try and fit in more. My current goal is to work in a forensic lab, which I should be able to achieve at hopefully some point. My expected graduating year is 2027, which is crazy to think that, that’s only 3 years away since time flies.
Some of my hobbies are art, DND(dungeons and dragons) and music. I guess they are more interests than hobbies, since I just doodle in my free time and I am always listening to music(mainly pop punk or rock music). DND is something I’ve only been doing consistently for about a year. I am terrible at explaining my hobbies so its not the best.
I guess an obstacle that I have overcome is the pandemic. Yes I know that everyone went through that, but that was a tough time in general. So getting through that is an achievement that I am proud of, since this was a really difficult time for my school and social life.
