My first-time interviewing someone was pretty exciting if I am being honest. When you are the one giving the interview it’s almost as if you are in control of the topic at hand which gives you that power and authority you ultimately want. When giving an interview you can shape and mold the type of questions you want to ask that person based on the topic of discussion at hand.  I felt comfortable when given my interview because it was someone I knew and not just a random stranger so already knowing that person’s personality and having some idea of what their responses might be based on the questions presented to him. As I was conducting my interview my questions that I gave were pretty sufficient and straight to the point and based on the responses I was looking for. After I went back over the questions and responses I could have switched the order of my questions possibly. Switching the order of your questions can have an impact on a person’s responses because when you do follow up questions that are related to the previous question you asked you might be able to get more out of that person rather than waiting questions later down to ask a follow up on a question. As for a first transcription of an interview the overall experience was pretty cool from asking the questions to deeply engaging with the person, I was interviewing so I can get a general idea of what their thoughts was as they came to mind.
